Untitled[edit]

This looks like an advertisement FOR A START UP TV Company - can we get an editor to look at this, please

Also add stations: Sun Valley, Idaho and Miami Beach, Florida.

Neutrality Issue[edit]

I don't see why there is a neutrality issue. Plum TV is an actual TV station in those locations. Nothing in the article seems bias at all. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mved (talkcontribs) 20:14, 13 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Un-neutral section[edit]

"As Seen In The Photo The Hamptons Plum Channel Is The Only Channel That Encourages Viewers To Come Down To The Set Of The Morning Noon And Night Show And Watch The Show While Its Being Shot Live." Kanibalos 23:31, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:PlumHP.jpg[edit]

Image:PlumHP.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Origin of TV broadcast information - no hidden agenda.[edit]

While the original page has a certain promotional quality to it - perhaps because some of the information was provided by the people who run the operation, as the ones most familiar with it - the contributor of the bit about over-the-air reception in Boston has no connection with Plum TV or its affiliates. I became aware of an impending reshuffling of a few of the digital subchannels, and when Plum TV appeared on a local station, I had no idea what it was; the station which picked it up had not advertised - or even released - the name of their new programming source until it was actually on the air. In searching for information about Plum, I ended up at Wikipedia; the article referred to cable and other platforms, but there was no mention of over-the-air availability, so I added my comment in case other Boston-area users ended up on the same page. I don't believe the TV station in question even knew that I had updated the Wikipedia page, until I informed them about it.Barry M.
