Merger proposal[edit]

I'd like to propose that Polish morphology be merged into Polish grammar. The content of those two articles is virtually the same as is the topic. Separate pages for grammar and morphology are unnecessary and create confusion. They arent used for English, German or French languages, for example.

Those languages don't have complex systems of noun inflection, though. For languages that do, there are often separate articles, like Slovene declension, Gothic declensionorLatin declension. And for verbs, there's English verbs, French conjugation, German conjugation, Dutch conjugation etc. CodeCat (talk) 00:38, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The articles you mentioned are made specifically for conjugation an declension descriptions, not morphology as a whole. I agree that there should be an article dealing specifically with Polish conjugation and declension, but articles about Polish grammar and morphology in current state are too similar to treat them as deserving of two separate pages. In any case the word grammar for any serious linguist means "syntax and morphology". Having a grammar page and a morphology page is nonsensical. Arauaraucaria (talk) 02:31, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
