Should this article be titled Port KlangorPort Kelang? "Klang" sounds like a colonial holdover. The (American English) references I've run into spelling it "Kelang", which is consonant with the Malaysian spelling. Encyclopaedia Britannica 2004's entry also lists it as "Port Kelang". Google seems evenly split (23,000 "Port Klang" vs. 23,100 "Port Kelang"). Do Malaysian English speakers have a preference? -- Jeff Q 08:53, 25 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Sabre23t, I wish you had spoken up sometime in the month between my query for contrary indications and my actual update. Now there are a number of links that have become redirects, including several that are double redirects and are thus effectively broken. Just wondering if this article is about the ports at Port Klang or is it about the settlement/town called Port Klang? Or both? Or is it about the port called Port Klang (if it still exists)? Because if it is about the town, then we would need the relevant infobox, etc. I think it should be about the town of Port Klang, just like Port MoresbyorPort-au-Prince which are cities with the word "port" in it. And of course, we may include a sizable section about the shipping port and its history. Furthermore, there are separate articles already about the ports at Port Klang namely Westport, Northport, etc. ќמшמφטтгמtorque16:52, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. So this article will be about the settlement/town of Port Klang. Regarding the article about the port, i think the existing articles of West Port, Malaysia, Southpoint, Malaysia and Northport, Malaysia would suffice? Another thing: i think that the Port Klang should be a disambiguation page with links to Port Klang (town), Port Klang Authority and to the 3 ports at Port Klang. I think most people who types "port klang" in the searchbox are more interested to know about the port(s) instead of the town. This means that we may need to rename this article.
