I.G or I.G.?

[edit]

I've noticed a bit of inconsistency in spelling in the article - sometimes "I.G" is used and sometimes "I.G." is used. The logo says "I.G" so I'm assuming that is the correct spelling, but could someone clarify this for me? Thank you. --Eruhildo (talk) 06:35, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's "I.G", per all appearances of their logo and all official usages e.g. on their website. Any uses of "I.G." need to be corrected. --Dinoguy1000 01:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you - that really help clear things up. --Eruhildo (talk) 08:15, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. I updated a number of usages last night, but there's probably many more left to get... --Dinoguy1000 17:35, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography lists

[edit]

I was wondering what order the filmography lists were supposed to be in. Alphabetical by first character? That's what they seem to be in except for the last couple in OVAs and Games. --Eruhildo (talk) 01:01, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chocolate Underground

[edit]

I wasn't sure where it would best fit, since it was an anime designed for mobile phones, so I listed it under the OVA category. There is also a movie coming out in January, based on the series with 20 minutes of extra footage, and done in widescreen format. Not exactly sure where that would go, if it deserves any extra inclusion at all. --JKaizer (talk) 18:35, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revenue

[edit]

it says the revenue is 10million jpy, which is ~100,000 USD. A sure typo. IDK where to find the actual revenue. Someone please fix. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.106.23.135 (talk) 07:11, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List

[edit]

This is a rare example of a list being useful. In addition to a prose section on the works of the company, there should be a proper list of all productions, categorized by date. ask123 (talk) 21:52, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography

[edit]

For most studios and production companies there is a filmography section. I know the works section kind of covers this but not very conveniently and I'm not sure if all the shows etc. are there. --Jacksoncw (talk) 21:16, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Works

[edit]

The "Category:Production I.G" page is confusing and unaesthetic, not to mention I doubt it's a full list of works. It doesn't feature years or citations or co-productions, and the "works" section does provide a few works but not enough that it really means much. The works section on the I.G page hardly lists any of their works, even though it provides information about the few works it talks about. I will be adding their works in chronological order at which they first started airing. I'll do that first and then edit the templates to also be featured in chronological order (rather than alphabetical). After that I'll find references and add them. I can't stand how unorganized this studio's works are. Sarcataclysmal (talk) 05:08, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting works into a separate list

[edit]

Adding tables for Production I.G works has made this article pretty big and possibly unwieldy. I have requested a peer review of the article and one comment was about possibly splitting the article by adding a list of Production I.G works and keeping a smaller section that covers the more important or famous Production I.G films, shows, OVAs etc.

Most of the works that are listed in this article are sourced and I think we might be able to add more content to the main article by providing information about notable artists that worked (or are still working at) the studio (this was also a good suggestion in the peer review).

Any help or discussion on the matter is appreciated.
