Cruft[edit]

There is a lot of spec and cruft under that 2006 relaunch section. And this page should be titled "Fictional biography" not history. --Xero (talk) 19:28, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assessment required[edit]

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. C-Class rated for Comics Project[edit]

As this B-Class article has yet to receive a review, it has been rated as C-Class. If you disagree and would like to request an assesment, please visit Wikipedia:WikiProject_Comics/Assessment#Requesting_an_assessment and list the article. Hiding T 14:23, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wonder Woman newspaper strip[edit]

According to www.bigredhair.com/work/writing_samples/WWcolumn.pdf the Wonder Woman strip ran from May 1944 to December 1945. Also, according to the book "The Comics" by Coulton Waugh (p. 261): "Early in 1944 King Features signed a contract for the new strip. "Wonder Woman" started to run in the New York Journal-American in the early days of June 1944." ilovecomix.com has a nearly-complete retelling of the origin of the Cheetah (who had debuted in Wonder Woman #6 (Fall 1943)) from Nov 20, 1944 to March 30, 1945 of this strip. Hope this helps, Darci (talk) 23:11, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wonder Woman #600 Neutrality[edit]

"The new direction, and the costume specifically, has gained much press and controversy, mostly due to the costume change, which according to fans, is ruining a classic."

Doesn't sound very neutral to me. Disgruntled fan making self-serving Wikipedia edits?

It's okay to mention that many fans are displeased with the new look, as that is a fact, but at least balance it by talking about the praise that the new direction is receiving. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.146.79.0 (talk) 04:15, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rename Article[edit]

The material and format of the article clearly indicates that the title of the article should be changed from "Publication History of Wonder Woman" to "Fictional Biography of Wonder Woman". ---WonderBoy1998 (talk) 08:18, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Too many images[edit]

There are now 12 images on this article. It has been flagged as "This article may contain excessive or improper use of copyrighted material." since March 2011. Fair use is being stretched pretty thin here. I suggest trimming the images down to four: one for the 1940s; one for the 1960s "Diana Prince" era; one for the 1980s George Perez reboot; and one for The New 52 version. This would provide an image for the character's major eras including the current representation. Everything else is decoration and under fair use we have to limit our usage of images. Mtminchi08 (talk) 05:09, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article images have been reduced down to 5. --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 14:39, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article has officially been renamed.[edit]

Article is now named HISTORY OF WONDER WOMAN due to the content being focused on her fiction bio more than publication history. This had been suggested earlier- please observe this yourself too. --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 08:56, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And I've reverted the move.
Per Wikipedia guidelines, the focus should always be more on "real world" information, than just be a duplication of a fictional history. In other words, while having a fictional history part of a publication history is perfectly fine, merely having the fictional history would be considered incomplete without real world information. - jc37 00:48, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Collected Editions[edit]

I added in the collected editions, please add any if any are missing. I feel like I got them all... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nemesisoverride (talkcontribs) 18:46, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Would someone add a concise list of series' writers?[edit]

Like the one in the article about Swamp Thing? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swamp_Thing_(comic_book)#Series_writers — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.4.139.166 (talk) 23:50, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Missing stories in Collected editions[edit]

Two stories are missing from the Wonder Woman '77 section:

Both of these miniseries, I think, are available in book form and should be included here.Malcolmlucascollins (talk) 02:08, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
