This article cuts off rather suddenly. I think some additional discussion about the problems with rocket mail and why it did not catch on would be a good addition at the end of the article.
Agreed. For the reasons stated in the introduction: "cost of schemes" and "numerous failures", only "failures" was expanded upon. I would imagine the current mail delivery system would not be much more expensive than rocket mail...airplanes can blow up too.
