More information

[edit]

Will someone PLEASE add some more information about the show itself, including who produces it, how it is produced, its history, etc. Unfortunately, Ich sprechen Deutsch nicht sehr gut. Gladmax 13:22, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa keep your pants on! Asking nicely probably helps more and may have inspired someone in the last 4 years to actually do it. I'll translate some bits off of German Rockpalast page soon, but sadly that page doesn't tell everything about the people behind it etc. either. -- Eddyspeeder (talk) 11:50, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ten Years Later

[edit]

Thera is one mistake in the Rockpalast concerts. You mention the group "Ten years After", but the real group whom played was "Alvin Lee and Ten years Later". This was the first band (Trio) of Alvin Lee after T.Y.A. Regards Roberto (May-18-2009)

Done. Who can forget those rocknights - I recall them clearly, half-lying on the sofa with lemonade, beer and peanuts and taking it in - before Live Aid and cable channels they were among the few all-night rock events on tv. Even if, before the mid-eighties, the acts were rarely from among the real superstars, they were always interesting and sometimes very exciting. I recall watching Peter Gabriel in 1978, I was a Genesis fan already but didn't know much of his solo work. That was an eye-opener of course. Too bad I missed out on The Who and The Dead in '81, I guess that one wasn't broadcast as widely as the others!

Radiohead

[edit]

You forgot Radiohead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98en3KeHG14&feature=related —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.3.104.185 (talk) 12:05, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done ;-) The list is far from complete, so any suggestions to expand the list are welcome. Of course you may also add them yourself. -- Eddyspeeder (talk) 11:50, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NOFX

[edit]

What about adding NOFX to the list? Didn't find it...

George Harrison

[edit]

Of course he didn't ever perform Rockpalaßt, so I deleted him fr. the artists list.

Solo (merely 19 gigs) he didn't ever play Europe.

Concertarchives.org and his Official Website (fr. his wife) obviously prove it.

The WDR site is "wrong" in this.

And it's nice to be right.
