I don't think this topic really deserve its own article. It could be easily shortened and merged into the PMoA article and not loose any pertinent information. Furthermore, as a life long resident of Philadelphia I've never heard the Art Museum steps referred to as "The Rocky Steps", so I'm not even sure the article title is valid. Go here to discuss this. I disagree. There is no need to shorten it, but most of the material is not directly related to the museum. Therefore it should stay separate. Hawkestone 17:14, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Rocky poster (British).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Shouldn't this page mention somewhere that the scenes of Rocky running up and down the steps were inspired by the real-life training regime of Joe Frazier? (So it is claimed in that article, anyway.) Terraxos (talk) 21:49, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how to actually talk about this article so I guess I'll write it here. People in Philadelphia refer to the steps as "The Art Museum Steps" and not "The Rocky Steps."
