Someone recently posted a fun statement on the page that Roosevelt Field is not the largest mall in NY. Turns out they're right, but only by gross square footage, not leasable square footage. Both Roosevelt Field and the Palisades Center have qualified largest mall claims. --Meadowbrook 15:42, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This still isn't true. The leasing sheet provided through the quote only lists a smidge over 2.2 million square feet in GLA from Roosevelt Field. Destiny USA's GLA is 2.4 million:
https://www.destinyusa.com/uploads/documents/2015%2002%2026%20Destiny%20USA%20Facts.pdf. Destiny USA is therefore the largest in NY and the statement that Roosevelt Field is the largest should be removed. Dnrothx (talk) 16:15, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Century Roosevelt Cinema opened earlier than '68. I saw Dr. No there in the early '60s. It had just opened. Longinus876 (talk) 03:19, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
