The last paragraph, although tangentially related to the Russ Nixon article, is all about Bobby Cox and doesn't really belong, especially as the last paragraph of an article on Russ Nixon! So that's why I deleted it. RandyKaelber 23:05, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was not moved -- Aervanath (talk) 07:21, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article Russ Nixon should be moved/renamed Russell Eugene Nixon for clarity sake. Currently, there exists a Russ Nixon who is affiliated with MLB, as well as a Russ Nixon who is affiliated with music within top search engine results; the title of the wiki page does not give enough information to distinguish which person the articles is referring to.
Oppose. Middle names should not be used to disambiguate unless that is how they are commonly known. 199.125.109.88 (talk) 14:14, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. As far as I can tell, there's no article for the music composer currently. We should use the most common name for the person in question, in this case Russ Nixon. If someone creates an article about the composer, and this page is not considered to be the primary topic, then you can argue about moving this page to Russ Nixon (baseball).
