1986-1987 1mB RAM[edit]

Texas Instruments transferred the 1mB RAM process. Also was influential in retooling manufacturing in Korea. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.113.123.114 (talk) 14:00, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

1993 Took over Maxtor (US HDD main factory)[edit]

It says in the text: 1993 Took over Maxtor (US HDD main factory). The Maxtor page mentions Maxtor was bought by Seagate in 2006, nothing about Hynix in 1993. What I think this text means (but I'm not sure), is that the main production factory of Maxtor in the US was bought by Hynix in 1993. (The Maxtor page does mention Maxtor being close to bankcrupty in 1992.) --DanielPharos (talk) 16:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Second largest memory chipmaker" - after who???[edit]

This Wikipedia entry says that "Hynix is the world's second-largest memory chipmaker" - okay, fair enough, but if you're going to make this claim, then who is the biggest? Thanks in advance.

according to this [1] Samsung is --Aizuku (talk) 11:15, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
