Using solar charging for an extended period of time[edit]

The article says: "The phone is not supposed to run on solar charging for an extended period of time." Why isn't it supposed to? —Unforgettableid (talk)

Hi there! I just added the sentence as a clarification because it was described that way in the product manual, which describes solar power as secundary power source (you should be able to find it online). The GT-E1107 uses the solar panel to charge in emergency situations (30 minutes of solar charging give you 5-10 minutes of talk time), not instead of wall-plug charging (at least that was the advertisment at the time).
