Looking for sources of this I found a couple of verses on the college website but the only source I can find for the whole thing is this musical score, a copy of which is held in the University Library, which I will endeavour to check sometime. 143.159.210.215 (talk) 13:01, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've found the score in the UL, and have photos of all ten verses. I'll try and put a photo of it here on the talk page; I hope that won't cause copyright issues (surely it's old enough to be out of it by now???). Should Sandra Dawson (Master) be listed as Dame rather than Professor (what has the priority)? The Judge institute pages list her title as Dame:
Based on this I propose changing the title to Dame.
The motto "Dieu me garde de calumnie" is clearly medieval French, not Latin as stated. Can we fix that?
The organisation of this page seems to me to be very poor. There's a collection of various pieces of information, some of which are clearly trivia. Then there's a contents section - and then hardly anything! Surely, for a start, the contents should be at the top? I'm inclined to change it all round to make more sense, but I'm not an expert on Sidney Sussex College and this task would surely be better done by someone who could bring more to it - perhaps a fellow or student of the college.
The image File:Cecil Frank Powell.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

I've changed the main photo for Sidney to one I took myself; the old one seemed a bit grey and grim to me. Quality's not ace, because I took it with my phone, but I think it's an improvement. (SeamusLeahey (talk) 22:40, 18 December 2016 (UTC))[reply]
