"Genderqueer People" category is inappropriate

"Genderqueer" is a specifically very recent, Western, especially American term and concept that is linked to certain political ideology (Queer Theory/postmodern feminism) and to be honest has nothing to do with traditional gender ideas of specific cultures such as Sworn Virgins. I see no evidence that Cerović ever saw herself as "genderqueer" nor would've even had any familiarity with the term, and I feel like retroactively assigning this construct to completely alien cultural contexts is disingenuous, dishonest, and potentially very disrespectful (let's not forget that "queer" is itself still a very controversial term). I have generally seen this argued in other instances of gender concepts from other cultural contexts such as Two-Spirit, so I'm going to go ahead and remove this page from the "Genderqueer" category for now. If anyone wants to provide evidence backing up that there is a relationship between this individual and the "genderqueer" phenomena, then feel free to challenge this, or suggest a more appropriate categorization related to cultural "third gender" type ideas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:681:5380:C0:DAF:969A:3D3D:7076 (talk) 13:31, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

InAlbanian sworn virgins, it is claimed that male pronouns where most often used. I was not able to check the sources tho (pay wall). Do we know how they where referd to during there living in Montenegro? Some2Guy (talk) 12:53, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A source already in use in the pae seems to sugest Crovìc used the male gender. MOS:GENDERID sujests last known gender used by subject even if sources don't use it acuratly Some2Guy (talk) 13:34, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

She referred to Cerović and the sister in this passage. Not sure who the 'her' in "until her death" and "to look after her" refers to.

"She looked after her other sister until her death, leaving her sister’s eldest children to look after her."
