Untitled[edit]

Not a Montenegrin Serb

I am against calling Ljubiša a "Montenegrin Serb writer" for several reasons. Firstly, he never lived in Montenegro and visited it only rarely. He was a Serb from Primorje (which I translated as the Littoral) which he emphasized on numerous occasions. Considering him Montenegrin for the reason that his birthplace is today part of Montenegro or because of his writing on Montenegrins would be a step towards incorrect. Petar II Petrović Njegoš is a Montenegrin Serb writer; Ljubiša could be Dalmatian Serb writer or even better a Serb writer from the Littoral. Secondly, he always considered himself being a Serb writer. Thirdly, he was certainly not a “Montenegrin Serb politician”! For the reasons of accuracy and understanding I propose erasing “Montenegrin”. --Dultz 08:58, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the Pastrovics; to whome Stjepan Mitrov belongs, are Montenegrins. --PaxEquilibrium 18:45, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

C'mon, Pax, you should know better... Where did you get that from? Anyone who read Ljubiša's stories can see that he makes a clear distinction between Paštrovići and Crnogorci that is Montenegrins. --Dultz 00:16, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
