There seems to be a contradiction about the demographics of this municipality. According to the 2002 census there are about 37 thousand inhabitants, from which about 17600 Macedonians and 15300 Albanians p.178. However according to the source used on this page, which is from the municipality web page, there are a total of 63300 people in the municipality, of which about 20000 Macedonians and 36000 Albanians [1]. Obviously one or perhaps both of this are wrong, so someone more knowledgeable should try to correct this discrepancy. Kostja (talk) 16:14, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should use the statistics given in the census link since that is what we use for all of the other Macedonian municipality articles. --Local herotalk18:54, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It appears that the smaller figures are for the Struma municipality before the administrative reforms which added several Albanian majority regions to Struga. So it's the bigger figure that is relevant at the moment. It appears in the census as well, I missed it: [2]. Kostja (talk) 19:03, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
