Tricky. It's a "Seoul Metropolitan Subway station" but not a "Seoul subway station". Creating a separate category for all "Seoul Metropolitan Subway stations" is possible but I think it's fine just to include all network stations in C:Sss. No, it shouldn't be in Seoul Subway Stations. It's a railroad station with subway/metro connections, as well as KTX service, and the three-level regular service offered by Korean rail. It is a giant place, and serves many more functions than simply being a subway station; to call it such, or categorize it as such would give entirely the wrong idea, ie, it would be somewhat less than factual.Theonemacduff (talk) 05:46, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tbh I don't think most of the books found in that google books search count as reliable sources, and FWIW Suwon Station is still more common per Google ngram. I'm aware the platform states "Suwon", but the article is on the station/building, not the subway stop itself. This sort of design can be found everywhere, not just in Korea. For example, the signs on the platform of Newark Penn Station simply say Newark, rather than the full name of the station. :3 F4U (they/it) 02:27, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There are too few book sources to say anything about that, and more importantly: nearly all the book results in your search are from unreliable sources. Wikipedia titles are based on usage in reliable sources, which in contrast to the book search, pretty much universally capitalize "Station". :3 F4U (they/it) 02:51, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
