challenge: this is an academic debate that has yet to be resolved conclusively. Ms. Nylan's academic expertise is not sufficient to resolve this very complex issue and a single out-of-context quote from some ancient text proves nothing in itself. There are a great many considerations to be weighed here. Wikipedia should not be used as a platform to push people's own private conclusions as bona fide fact.
