Opinion[edit]

The line "This film, which ranks among some of the funniest of all-time" is a matter of opinion and should probably be taken out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.68.35.65 (talk) 20:06, 20 December 2005‎

Radiohead song[edit]

radiohead's "idioteque" has the lines "take the money, run" repeating. you think there could be a connection? --Quinlan Vos 20:25, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Starkwell/Starkweather?[edit]

I always wondered if Allen got the name of his protagonist, Virgil Starkwell, from the notorious '50s killer Charles Starkweather, who went on a murder-and-robbery spree in the Midwest in the 1950s, accompanied by an underage girl. This spree was the basis for the 1973 film "Badlands," Terence Malick's first major directorial effort. It starred the then-unknown Martin Sheen as Starkweather and the then-unknown Cissy Spacek as his adolescent sidekick.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.194.142.25 (talk) 12:27, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know, but unless you can find something to support such a connection, it's OR and is being deleted. SixFourThree (talk) 18:24, 28 July 2008 (UTC)SixFourThree[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Original movie poster for the film Take the Money and Run.jpg[edit]

Image:Original movie poster for the film Take the Money and Run.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Third paragraph of "Plot" has scenes out of sequence?[edit]

I think the third paragraph of the "Plot" description has events out of order. I think the scene with the soap gun came before the attempted bank robbery with the misspelled note. Also, the mass breakout came later in the movie. Bunkyray5 (talk) 19:28, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
