OMG! this is so empty... Argh. and I was looking for the quote of when he talks about the deaths of the native americansDwarf Kirlston 02:58, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I would like to know who originally wrote this article, especially the sections which claims that the film exposes the "many faults of a government run" health care. Granted there are "faults" (everything has pros and cons) but it appears to suggest to me that the author is biased towards a privatized health care. We must be careful to summarize that the film says and what we want it to say. Any opinions on this? [User: mjlizott|Mathieu Lizotte] november 27th 2005

Comedy (a) I've seen the film several times and it never occurred to me that it was a comedy. (b) the wording "on his father's behalf" suggests that his father asked him, or was at least aware. Perhaps "for his father's sake" would be more appropriate here. [User: J27325] Sept 27th 2009

Fair use rationale for Image:Barbarian Oscar.jpg

[edit]

Image:Barbarian Oscar.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Is this a Star-Class article in Wikipedia's quality scale?

[edit]

I can't believe this article has a Star-Class in the quality scale of Wikipedia. It looks like those who gave the Star didn't see the film at all. Lines like: "Finally the father and son travel to Vermont in the United States to receive medical care." are completely missleading anyone who hasn't seen the film. There's not a single mention to Sebastian' search for heroin to mitigate his father pain, his father addiction to heroin as the cancer get worse, and the caracter of Nathalie, an addict herself, and her relationship with the father and the son.--Zamp-Ru (talk) 20:35, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
