0.71RC1 is widely available on the Internet, but 0.81RC1 beta was also made available and can also be found after a hard search. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.218.247.75 (talk) 21:57, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide a source. Reubot (talk) 10:41, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was "bold" and added a link to the download location for the remaining GPL licenced player incl. sourcecode, which is most mentioned on the net. I believe this will help people to find and download this player for their platform. Since there isn't an official page for this player this seems to be the most reliable source to me. Please reedit if this was wrong. Page I entered was http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/ Jpcg (talk) 23:44, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

FLV plugin PPC version?

[edit]

Which versions of Pocket PC does the FLV plugin work on? I tried installing the CAB file on PPC 2002 but it was not recognized as valid. Only the PPC 2003 version is labeled as such. SharkD  Talk  02:17, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was able to install the PPC 2003 version on PPC 2002, but the result was that TCPMP would no longer start. SharkD  Talk  02:34, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TCPMP - focusing on TCPMP

[edit]

Cited many sources. Primary: archives of the CoreCodec.org site. Secondary: reviews, & one book.

This article, from what I can tell, is intended to focus on the open source TCPMP and its immediate predecessor, the first incarnation of open source BetaPlayer, and perhaps any prior published players before BetaPlayer 0.01a (were there any?). By that I mean this article stops at TCPMP and reviews of it. The CorePlayer article covers closed-source TCMP and commercialization. Sensible? Discuss.

That said, there are a couple of things which need attention: the commented-out text about browser plug-ins, and the stray commented-out external links which may be useful in the CorePlayer article. --Lexein (talk) 14:16, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Good to see a working new external link. Let's not let this grow into a linkfarm. I put back the semi-official TCPMP, from archive.org. --Lexein (talk) 17:52, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
