There are 3 novels "of the same name" listed on Wikipedia alone. My quick searching suggests this is a complete list also. This movie adaption is of the Lily Brooks-Dalton novel.

"Decimates" means "reduces to 1/10th," so 90% of the Earth would be affected.[reply]
No, it does not. It means exactly the OPPOSITE of that.
Hmmm. Not sure I understand how there is any evidence from the film that he is her father.
All he says is "Did you tell her about me?". Could just as easily mean "did you tell her about us having a relationship for years" -- he is rather self-centred.
While I appreciate it could be inferred, that would be OR?
