This article has been given a rating which conflicts with the project-independent quality rating in the banner shell. Please resolve this conflict if possible.
This article has a NPOV leaning towards the Muslim particulars. Example: "That outstanding general bore the full force of the Byzantine attack." [Emphasis mine] We do not state that someone was "great" or otherwise unless scholars have deemed it part of a person's title. I urge removal. The rest of the article excludes better detailed emphasis on Emperor Theophilos' improvement of the economy and growth of commerce. Jtpaladin (talk) 15:34, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
"Theophilos never recovered from the blow; his health gradually failed..." What are we talking about that he received some type of "...blow...". It doesn't say. Please re-write this to make more sense. Dinkytowntalk 19:36, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
