On 4 November 2009, a well-intentioned editor copied the information "2 April" into the lede, at this edit, and now it sits there posing as gospel truth. Except it isn't gospel truth. The original edit of 12 March 2008 did not provide a source, and my searches have failed to corroborate it anywhere. I'm reverting the data to "April 1793". If anyone can confirm 2 April or any other particular date was the correct one, please provide a source. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 12:06, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The 2 April date was restored by User:MrOllie on 16 July 2010, still with no source or citation. I have now taken it out again.
While this is given in the ODNB as Hanxwell, it begins to look as if it should be Hauxwell. Reports are that her first husband was W. W. Hanxwell: FreeBMD makes William Wing Hauxwell died 1841 likely. William (Wing) Hauxwell, 1797 - 1841 on https://www.myheritage.com/names/william_hauxwell is a very good match. https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=S_4dAgAAQBAJ&pg=PA117 is from a self-published book, so not RS, but is circumstantial.
The reference now given for the stepdaughter's marriage makes it pretty clear: "Sarah Addison, daughter of the late William Wing, Hauxwell, and stepdaughter of the late Thomas Addison, M. D., senior physician to Guy's Hospital." Charles Matthews (talk) 16:57, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
