Should it be mentioned that the reason Serenity has such a large lead is because of Firefly fans--Aaronpark (talk) 00:09, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Taken from the ISS page, but should be reiterated and expanded here. Node 3's "original purpose to be a hub for the Habitation Module as well as the Crew Return Vehicle, is no longer relevant - both items were cancelled in 2001."
Image:Node 3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:32, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd love to use the image, but it's copyright status is somewhat unclear. I'm not entirely sure it was snapped by a NASA employee. --TheDJ (talk • contribs) 20:48, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The article currently says "Node 3 will be launched with the Cupola attached to the nadir, or earthward facing port. After mating Node 3 with the port Common Berthing Mechanism of Unity, the Cupola will be moved to the nadir facing port of Node 3." Huh? Jpatokal (talk) 02:22, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Mentioned on Colbert Report tonight, suggest protecting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronsmytheiii (talk • contribs) 04:49, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Judging by recent vandalism, I'd say that it would be good if this page at least became semi-protected. scikidus (talk) 23:03, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
At the top of the article it says the node will be attached in 2009, later it says the shuttle that will carry it is scheduled to launch in 2010?? which is it... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.120.188.175 (talk) 19:33, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Brand new to actually having a wiki account, so not really wanting to try this myself, but GaiaOnline is also trying to get people to vote for a certain name, in this case "Gaia". They are encouraging people to vote daily and at the moment Gaia is listed as the third most suggested name. The first news post made about this was on march 12th[1], and they consistently have a banner for it on their main page. Hopefully someone can take this and put what's needed for the article.Renapedia (talk) 23:51, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On April 6, 2009, Stephen Colbert threatened a lawsuit if the node is not named after him.[11]
I would suggest adding "jokingly" before "threatened". Mindme (talk) 13:59, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Should the Colbert Report Template be placed at the bottom? It might be appropriate that this article is in the template considering it's relevance to the Colbert Nation, but I don't see why the template should be in the article since, while Colbert has had impact on the naming contest, he's got relatively minimal impact on the node as a whole. If it is named after him, then I think it is far more justified to have the template, but until the contest winners are announced, I don't think it belongs here. --forgottenlord —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.52.144.254 (talk) 01:02, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Colbert Nation website just announced that next Tuesday, astronaut Sunita L. Williams will appear to announce the final results. Sarujo (talk) 00:22, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article mentions NASA 4 times, and gives the impression this is a NASA project. It is ESA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.13.219.86 (talk) 08:44, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Node's 1 and 2, Unity and Harmony, both have specifications given. Are there any physical specifications for node 3 Tranquility? Starfiend (talk) 00:33, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Should we mention something about that they have to mount cables on the outside of Node 1 to get data and power to Node 3 once it's mated to Node 1? Apperantly they had first planed to put it somewhere else so that's why they don't have cables on the inside. The wiring will be done during an EVA on STS-128 later in 2009. Arkaska (talk) 18:40, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Node 3 appears to have six total ports - one at each end and four around the cylinder. If one is used to connect Node 3 to Unity, one used for the Cupola, and one used for the relocated PMA, doesn't that mean that three ports are unused? The article says that there are four unused ports. Rillian (talk) 22:37, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
if anyone ever visits this page and has time, some specs like weight would be cool. other module pages are a good guide. Penyulap talk 03:12, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
