True Colors in Colombian charts[edit]

True Colors (the singles) was released in Colombia in August 1986, but the album was released 5 months after the single was released. The album peaked #1 in January 27th, 1987 and remained in the charts for 55 weeks, until it fell out. in 1991 the album re-entered on the charts for 3 weeks. The album was certified 5xPlatinum (+150.000) by SAYCO (as RIIA in US) in 2003 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cesarc1989 (talkcontribs) 13:36, 10 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

True Colors in Brazilian Charts[edit]

The album has sold over 200.000 copies in Brazil according the famous and respected Brazilian magazine "Veja" #950 (11/19/1986) and won platinum certification in 1989. This article can be read here: http://veja.abril.com.br/acervodigital/home.aspx (in portuguese)

True Colors in Philippines Charts[edit]

The True Colors album won platinum certification in Philippines (http://carlodelarosa.wordpress.com/2012/03/12/cyndi-lauper-shes-so-not-most-people/). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.2.230.10 (talk) 16:33, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Cyndi Lauper - True Colors.jpg[edit]

Image:Cyndi Lauper - True Colors.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Repetition[edit]

Is all this necessary? "The title song, written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly, secured Lauper's status as a successful record producer and performer. It has been covered by countless other artists including Phil Collins, Natasha St. Pier, Anna Tsuchiya, Tanya Chua, Olivia Ong and Kasey Chambers, and was used as the theme song for the 1988 Olympic Games, the 2003 Rugby World Cup and for Kodak cameras and film." This is all mentioned on the True Colours (song) page, so do we need it twice? If I don't hear otherwise in next few days, I'll remove it--TimothyJacobson (talk) 01:37, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
