Origins section?[edit]

On this page for Truman Day the holiday, the Origins section is a quick bio for Truman the president. But there's already a link to his page by his name earlier in the article. Should this Origins section be reworked to talk about the origins of the holiday itself, like when/how it was established? That's actually why I came to this article in the first place and it's not there. SavedR (talk) 18:28, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I did some research on its true origins within Missouri and added what I found. I also moved the part about Nixon trying to abolish the holiday to the origins section, as it felt more appropriate there. Mik Kanrokitoff (talk) 23:25, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
