Untitled[edit]

I edited some of the grammar and wording in the lead and history sections for better comprehension. The History section is still very confusing because the original content isn't very clear, and not well cited. It also makes NO REFERENCE TO HARRY POTTER and needs to give better information regarding that, and it's logistical formation and the actual USQ. Thend15 (talk) 18:02, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am slightly confused about the fact that this page mentions US Quidditch was founded in 2005? While I understand that quidditch as a real-life sport was founded in 2005, according to International Quidditch Association the Intercollegiate Quidditch Association was founded on November 11, 2007, was then renamed to International Quidditch Association in 2010, and then we saw the USQ/IQA split happening after the March 19, 2014 announcement. (See also International Quidditch Association#History.) So I think at most you could say USQ was founded in 2007, but I think it would be more honest to say it was founded in 2014, with it's predecessor being founded in 2007. Mostly, I just think the history part needs to be updated to split between the history of quidditch and the history of the IQA/USQ. MissTimeturner (talk) 05:25, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Some proposed changes[edit]

US Quidditch does not refer to itself as United States Quidditch Association. Source: https://www.usquidditch.org/about/mission/ Mary Kimball is the Events Director. Jillian Flom is the Events Manager: https://www.usquidditch.org/about/leadership/. The current edition of the US Quidditch rulebook is 11.  Implemented Board of Directors also added to infobox.  Spintendo  ᔦᔭ  06:32, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Quadball was founded in 2005" is misinformation[edit]

Quadball was founded in July 20221.

1 "In July 2022, the new name of 'Quadball' was announced", Quidditch (real-life sport) Wallby (talk) 20:21, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
