Why not March 8?[edit]

This article lacks an explanation as to the International Women's (Rights') Day, which is March 8, is not observed in the US. --Sparviere (talk) 22:37, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not Signed, Certified[edit]

FYI, constitutional amendments are not signed. They are not legislation; the President has no role whatsoever in their proposal or ratification.

Instead, once the requisite number of states have ratified an amendment so that it becomes part of the US Constitution, the fact ratification is complete is certified.

gotopless.org[edit]

I will not recommend you go to the site, NSFW. However, if you do, and read down the page, gotopless.org is apparently a front for the Raelians, people who believe that human life is the result of deliberate alien creation/experimentation. I'm not sure they're the best example of Women's equality, given the many other credible womens' groups in the US. Also, in listing the website, a warning that it is NSFW should probably be included. 204.65.34.245 (talk) 18:15, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
