would be nice to know which songs and videos were on the startup HDDs —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.37.102.105 (talk) 12:39, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just merged Xbox 360 marketing. There were several sections spun off the main Xbox 360 article, and with due cause, but the launch article should include more than just sales data and speculation on supply shortages. Since the launch has already occured and most details are already documented, I don't think that this article will swell to an unmanagable size.
The text can still use a lot of cleanup, though. In some parts random sentences and paragraph fragments just seem piled on with no rhyme or reason. ˉˉanetode╞┬╡ 21:57, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Launch for the core was 209.99 in the UK, not 189.99 (which is the current price) ref. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4491804.stm Awaken 19:43, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OKAY, I bet 99% of us are looking for simple data showing how many units were sold in total and maybe at what rate, but none of that provided.. --nlitement [talk] 08:56, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Image:Mtv-xbox-360-unveiling.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The article states that 500,000 units were sold in Europe by the end of 2006 . Surely this should read 2005 ? Elsewhere it states that 300k where avaliable in Europe at launch , and the main Xbox 360 article mentions sales of 2 million in 2006 . Darwin-rover (talk) 00:18, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article mentions that the 360 'is set to launch...in China in the coming months'. The source of that information is dated Jan 07 and the actual link is broken (story cannot be found). Perhaps it should be updated? 203.217.80.119 (talk) 04:11, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It appears this article is under attack from vandalism. The content for the headings "India", "China", and "Latin America" have been changed to irrelevant rubbish.
