prefix an optional prefix added onto the name of the act depending on the type of chamber. use the name of the issuing agency as the prefix for:

  • Joint Administrative Order (JAO)
  • Administrative Order (AO)
  • Memorandum Circular (MC)
  • Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC)
  • Memorandum Order (MO)
  • Department Order (DO)
  • Department Administrative Order (DAO)
  • Regulation (REG)

use the name of the local government unit + City or Municipal for:

  • Ordinance (ORD)
  • Resolution (RES)

No prefix is added if this parameter is not provided or left blank.
