Template:Db-afc-move

This template may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion because it is blocking acceptance of a draft submitted to Articles for creation. The page to be moved to this name by the reviewing editoris[[:{{{1}}}]]. Reason for move: an AfC reviewer has determined that the draft is ready for acceptance. Please delete this page to allow the draft reviewer to move the draft. Admins should not evaluate the draft (the AFC reviewer has already done this), merely delete the redirect. Asserted to be non-controversial maintenance. This template may have no transclusions, because it is substituted by a tool or script, it is used as part of a short-term or less active Wikipedia process, or for some other reason.

Place {{db-afc-move|1=page to be moved (by reviewer after deletion)}} at the top of the redirect to be deleted so that the deleting admin knows which redirect is to be moved to the title and can delete the redirect.

This template places the page in Category:Candidates for technical speedy deletion.

Admins do not need to evaluate the draft; the Articles for Creation (AFC) reviewer has already done this. The main things admins should check for are...

• that that the editor who placed the tag is a valid AFC reviewer. You can check the list at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Participants, and also all new page patrollers and admins are AFC reviewers by default.
• that the tag was placed on a redirect, not an article.

Admins should not move the draft. The AFC reviewer is expected to move the draft using the AFC helper script after the admin deletes the page that is in the way. The AFC helper script will clean up the wikitext of the draft and add appropriate WikiProject tags to the talk page.
