A law enforcement unit infobox may be used to summarize information about an individual law enforcement unit, such as a team, unit, group, squad, command, division or district that is part of a law enforcement agency. Law enforcement agency articles use {{Infobox law enforcement agency}}.

    unit_name yes Name of the unit. Defaults to the name of the article (PAGENAME) if not provided. Text. Do not link.
    native_name no Unit name in a native language using Western characters (French, German, Spanish, etc.), such as Port Lotniczy im. Fryderyka Chopina. Can also be used for two different names in the same language. Use {{Native name}}. Text.
    native_namea no Unit name in a native language with non-Western characters (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, etc.), such as 北京首都国际机场. Use {{Native name}}. Text.
    native_namer no Use in conjunction with native_namea for Romanized name of the unit, such as Běijīng Shǒudū Guójì Jīcháng. Use {{Native name}}. Text.
    image no An image of the unit insignia (logo, patch or badge), if available. Image file name.
    image_size no Size in px of the image. Defaults to 140. Single number.
    alt no Alternative text for visually impaired users, see WP:ALT. Text. Do not link.
    caption no The text to be placed below the image. Text. Do not link.
    dates no The dates that the unit has been or was active; the dates can be indicated by using {{Start date}} (and {{End date}} if required). Text. Manual of Style Dates
    country no If the unit is part of a law enforcement agency of a sovereign state, the name of that state. Text. Do not link. The template will link.
    agency no The name of the unit's parent law enforcement agency, e.g. FBI, NYPD, etc. Optionally linked text.

    ops_juris no Name of areas in which the unit has operational jurisdiction to act if not empowered for the entire country, e.g, state, province, territory, shire, county, city, town, etc.; Or if unit has national and international jurisdiction, if relevant, a brief list of the names of the countries.     command_structure no The larger unit(s) of which the unit is a part. Optionally linked text.
