There is no real definition of chaebol, and upon a search I found that the absolute majority of scholarly papers just use the list of『대규모기업집단』by the KFTC. That list as of 2018 includes 60 groups of total asset more than 5 trillion won, but publishing the whole list would include a lot of companies that is not a chaebol in the everyday-sense of the term. Thus I just included the top 10 for now.
Honestly I have my doubts about the necessity of this template, a simple pointer to the chaebol page might more sense, and I am seeing that this template has also come and gone throughout the history of WP. I want to hear what other people think, but please refrain from doing any sort of WP:OR and adding the names of few conglomerates in there without a clear standard.
