Terminology[edit]

I believe the term 'The SFA' should stay. 'National Association' is hardly any cleary, especially to a non-football audience and the English and French equivalents of this template (to give some examples) use their abbreviation, such as FFF, so there is no reason why the Scottish equivalent cannot do the same. On the same point, 'B national team' is too clunky a term - we do not refer, on the same template, to the 'Under 19 Team' and the 'Under 19 national team' and nor should we, 'B team' suffices without crowding the text box. 88.111.135.160 18:05, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm finding it hard to buy that 'The SFA' is clearer than 'National association'. On other templates, 'National association', 'Football association' or some variation seems to be preferred to an acronym. In any case please do not change the title again without consensus. According to the records, you are the one who changed it in the first place. Please do not revert until some discussion has been had. 88.109.192.38 10:55, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not quite, you should take a glance at the first version. Kanaye 11:53, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the 10:55 12th June comment, The SFA is more appropriate. 88.111.194.53 16:52, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You were fun for a while but now it's becoming tiresome. Any reason I shouldn't just take this to WP:ANI?Kanaye 23:09, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Women's Football[edit]

Should the template mention this? I made one specifically for Women's Football in Scotland, but I wondered whether that should be included in this template. 2o-DeMoN-o8 (talk) 07:48, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If there was an article specifically about Women's Football in Scotland then a link to that could be squeezed in but I think otherwise the two templates operate well separately. Darryl.matheson (talk) 19:18, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For the Women's Football in Scotland link I just used Scottish Women's Football Association. Once I create a more detailed picture I will try and add one, but not onto this template. 2o-DeMoN-o8 (talk) 20:59, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
