Should there be a link to Portal:Formula One in this template?--Midgrid(talk) 17:17, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Collapsible sections

[edit]

Is there any support for the idea of making the sections of this template collapsible? It's quite a long template and in most articles in which it's transcluded, it extends past the article lead and ends up causing a table of data to be horizontally "squeezed" (and hence artificially lengthened) for no good reason - see List of Formula One World Drivers' Champions as an example. (Of course, the degree of "squeeze" will depend on your screen resolution). If the template sections were collapsible, in most cases the template would fit within the lead section and the table could occupy the full page width. I've been bold and made the change. Feel free to revert if you don't like it. DH85868993 (talk) 02:21, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Color change

[edit]

Hi,Made some more color options. The present one look nice but on a softer side tough - excuse me if i am wrong. So made some more options that might look a little dynamic. Please leave yoiur comments. Race27 (talk) 09:26, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think the current version is better (more contrast for wp:accessibility. the blue on blue is especially bad in your examples. Frietjes (talk) 18:25, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I find the current colours preferable to all three alternatives presented. DH85868993 (talk) 21:57, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Convert this to a Navbox

[edit]

Should we convert this to a Navbox to be placed at the bottom of the page instead of at the right side as a sidebar? This "sidebar" is taking up too much space that it causes too much whitespace where pages with table are involved. StandNThrow (talk) 09:02, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

could be formatted to do both, see, e.g., {{Chabad}} which can function as either a sidebar or a navbox. Frietjes (talk) 17:08, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
or we could add back the collapsible lists aspect. Frietjes (talk) 17:10, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be happy to see the collapsible lists restored. DH85868993 (talk) 21:51, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
done. Frietjes (talk) 18:49, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
