Why does this template include the Pillow Head Hour? After all it wasn't a block; it was a show. Yes it featured shows, but it was sort of like the characters in the Pillow Head Hour were watching those TV shows. It would really make sense if you excluded the Pillow Head Hour.

    90's Are All That?[edit]

For a block of shows aimed primarily at people born in the early 90s, I am shocked to see this listed under Kids TV Blocks. Also, it's timeslot anyone? It premieres at midnight. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.245.229.247 (talk) 08:54, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

    Litton subgrouping[edit]

The Litton subgroup is because all four programming blocks are syndicated by Litton to that particular network's affiliates first. That is why the need to have a subgrouping of Litton. It is the same deal with Xploration Station, Fox network and Rotfield Production. Spshu (talk) 14:15, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Litton is not just a producer of these blocks, but owns them as syndicator. There is no guarantee that the programming block is even on the partner network in all markets. It beats repeating Litton again for each of the Litton blocks. Disney is just paired with Litton as the table would look balanced and the only other with two blocks. Spshu (talk) 12:49, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Nonsense argument. Who produces or syndicates a block isn't important - all that matters is which network airs it. I know the networks sell their Saturday AM blocks to the highest bidder, but at the end of the day, all that counts is the network that airs the show, and everything else is trivia. Vjmlhds (talk) 18:18, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Welcoming any interested 3rd party to take a look at things over here and lend a set of eyes to break the impasse. Vjmlhds (talk) 00:50, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The Xploration Station aired not on local Fox affiliate but on the MyNetworkTV affiliate. Similarly two stations, while dropping their ABC affiliation, still are affiliated/contracted for Litton's Weekend Adventure. The Litton and Rotfeld blocks are syndicated by Litton and Rotfeld not distributed by the networks. Networks and syndicators are both types of TV distributors, so your edit summary claim of "The network is what counts, not the distributor." and the argument above is patently false.
