@Nmmwiki, Wowzers122, and Rastakwere: Regarding your (Nmmwiki's) recent edit here: A navigation template is not normally meant to have two links to the same article, using two different piped words (visible to the reader) that point to a single article, unless it's to a particular subsection. We also have the problem that ethnic cleansing is a fuzzy term. According to the current lead of ethnic cleansing, Although the term ethnic cleansing has no legal definition under international criminal law, it constitutes a crime against humanity and may also fall under the Genocide Convention.[2][5][6]
If the aim it to point out that reliable sources have used the term "ethnic cleansing" about Western Tigray, including Humera, then one option is is in the first section of the article War crimes in the Tigray War#War crime classification, where, I think, adding some sourced information within the crimes against humanity section would make sense for "ethnic cleansing". Alternatively, the Humera massacre article could be expanded with a new section such as Ethnic cleansing in Western Tigray, based on the sources that talk about a wider pattern of "ethnic cleansing" in Western Tigray (since Humera is part of the wider pattern), and then a link from here to that subsection would, it seems to me, be justified. This template needs to improve. It pushes for the Tigray narrative while excluding crucial content that are related to other victims (Amhara & Afar) in the Northern Ethiopia war which is also known as the Tigray war. I added the POV template to encourage editors to help improve it. Petra0922 (talk) 06:29, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
