Template:Types of armour → Template:Personal armouring materials – this is not about types of personal/personnel armour (ie. helmet, codpiece, bulletproof vest, flak jacket) or types of armour (ie. IFV, APC, tank, up-armored Humvee, armored car), this is about various materials used to make personal personnel armours --Relisted.   • the parent article personal armour, but this template isn't about personal armour, it's about materials used to build personal armour, which is not the same thing. (for an analogy, steel, rubber, and glass are used to build cars, but types are cars are sports cars, saloon cars, city cars, etc, while rubber, glass and steel are not types of cars) And this doesn't cover types of armour materials that are not for personal armour, such as various grades of steel used in tanks, or ceramics used on APCs, or iron for ironclads, or bulletproof glass for armoured limos -- 70.51.202.183 (talk) 08:36, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
