Terra Venture Partners is an Israeli venture capital fund focused on clean technology. Terra Venture Partners was Israel's most active venture capital fund in 2009 in terms of first investments.[1] The fund, established in 2006,[2] currently has $25 million under management.[3] Terra was founded by Astorre Modena and Harold Wiener as a fund dedicated to investing in early stage Israeli cleantech companies. However, the fund is relatively flexible on the definition of cleantech. Most of the fund's companies are focused on energy efficiency and storage, rather than the traditional cleantech fields such as solar power.[4]
