The Crew is an online sitcom that follows the lives of the engine room crew of the starship Azureas. The production had a financed 15-episode first season run,[1] and was distributed through blip.tv, YouTube[2] and Koldcast.tv.[3] It was acquired for a second season run, distributed by Babelgum.[4]

With major distribution for the second season, including The Guild's Robin Thorsen and Lonelygirl15, The Crew has gained the attention of traditional news outlets such as The Wall Street Journal.[5]

In 2010, The Crew was nominated for Best Visual Effects at the Second Annual Streamy Awards.[6]
