Tracuateua is a municipality in the stateofPará in the Northern regionofBrazil.[2][3][4][5]
The municipality contains the larger part of the 27,864 hectares (68,850 acres) Tracuateua Marine Extractive Reserve, a sustainable use conservation unit created in 2005.[6]
The climate is tropical monsoon (Köppen: Am), with great differences in precipitation according to the seasons.[7]
