AUFC Welterweight Championship bout between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler for the vacant title headlined the event.

Julianna Peña was expected to face Jéssica Andrade at this event. However, Pena pulled out of the bout citing an injury to the knee and was replaced by Raquel Pennington.[9]
