USS Hamilton (FFG-66) will be the fifth Constellation-class guided-missile frigate of the United States Navy. She is named for Alexander Hamilton, Secretary of the Treasury under George Washington. She will be built by Marinette Marine, a subsidiary of Fincantieri, with an expected completion in 2030. Her name was announced on 23 May 2024 by Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro during the New York City Fleet Week when he announced the order of both Hamilton and sistership USS Galvez.[1]
