The United Nations geoscheme for the Americas is an internal tool created and used by the UN's Statistics Division (UNSD) for the specific purpose of UN statistics.[1]

The following is an alphabetical list of countries in the Americas grouped by UNSD geoscheme subregion and (if applicable) intermediate region.[1] The continentofNorth America comprises the intermediate regions of the Caribbean, Central America, and Northern America.
