United Video is a New Zealand home video rental business that offers DVDs to rent and sell. The company was founded in 1984. It originally had three stores, but by 2001, it had a total of seventy-seven stores and in the same year, was sold to The Entertainers Limited.[1]

In 2015 the United Video company would go into liquidation.[2] In 2020 their parent company The Entertainers Limited would cease operations[3]

At its peak, it had over 100 stores in New Zealand. As of 2024, there are two stores left – one in Masterton and one in Morrinsville.[4][5]
