Daniel Duffy (16 May 1878 - 13 August 1954) was a Scottish painter.[1]
His father was James Duffy (born c. 1853), a teacher from Glasgow.
His mother was Mary McMenemey (born c. 1857) from Airdrie. James and Mary married on 31 July 1877 in Whifflet.
Daniel James Duffy was born on 16 May 1878 in Whifflet, Lanarkshire.
He died on 13 August 1954 at Dunbeth Lodge, Laird Street, Coarbridge.[2]
The funeral was at Dalbeth Cemetery on 16 August 1954.[3]
