John Arthur Machray Hay (29 May 1887 - 24 November 1960) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
His father was James Hay (c. 1851 - 6 November 1919), a tailor and clothier from Old Machar, Aberdeenshire.
His mother was Helen Machray (29 May 1861 - 30 December 1940), from Aberdeen. James and Helen married on 20 October 1885 in Aberdeen.
John Arthur Machray Hay was born on 29 May 1887 in Aberdeen.
He died on 24 November 1960 at Southmoor House, Kingston Bagpuize, Berkshire in England. The value of his estate was £1281, 1 shilling, 9 pence.
His usual address was 30 St. Margaret's Road, Oxford, England.
