John Le Conte (c.1818 - 21 May 1887) was a Scottish painter and engraver.[1][2]
His father was Nicolas Le Conte (c.1775 - 1841) from Edinburgh.
His mother was Ann Lucas (c.1785 - 28 February 1836).
John Le Conte was born c. 1818.
He married Catherine Morrison (born c. 1820) from Forres. They married in Edinburgh on 27 April 1849.
His son John Nicholas Le Conte was born on 23 December 1849 in Edinburgh.

He died on 21 May 1887 in Edinburgh. He was buried on 24 May 1887 in Warriston cemetery, Edinburgh.
