Bryan was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He studied graphic design at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
Before graduating from the Art Academy, Bryan held a position as graphic designer at the studio Graff Designs in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bryan continued to work for Graff Designs until moving to Columbus, Ohio where he worked for a brief period in the design department of Limited Brands, Bath and Body Works division.
Since moving to Washington, DC in 2003 Bryan has worked as a graphic designer in the Medical Arts Department at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda.
In his spare time Bryan contributes pro bono graphic design work for Food & Friends, an organization that provides meals, groceries and nutrition counseling to people living with life-challenging illnesses such as HIV/AIDS and cancer. His design projects include producing their quarterly newsletter ChopTalk and other promotional collateral. In 2010 Bryan founded a casual fundraising collective called Wish Come Happen which organizes fun events where money is raised for a chosen non-profit in the spirit of "doing things that don't matter for things that do".
